Before commencing treatment the owner fills in a questionnaire so I can get a clear understanding about the history and current circumstances in which the horse is kept and what work is required of the animal.
Then I assess the horse’s movement, posture and soft tissue. I will also look at breathing, leg reflexes and other signs that reflect the horse’s physical condition. Pictures are taken before and after treatment, this helps to clearly document the changes in the body.
A session takes 1 to 1,5 hours. After treatment, I’ll assess the horse again.
After treatment the horse needs at least 24 hours rest, preferably out in the field or in a paddock. ‘Rest’ does not mean putting your horse in a stable. Movement and grazing will optimize the effect of the treatment. On average it will take 4 to 5 treatments for optimal results. I currently work in the Netherlands. I will travel abroad upon request. Appointments may be cancelled up to 24 hours before appointment.
